Preparedness can save lives.

NEMS recently hosted its Stop The Bleed Seminar, bringing together participants for hands-on learning and important conversations around emergency response and lifesaving bleeding control techniques.

The seminar highlighted the importance of quick action, awareness, and community readiness in emergency situations.

Dr.. Eneia Theophilus was honored by the Joy International Charitable Foundation during its Spring Nation Builders Luncheon on May 2, 2026, in recognition of exemplary service, dedication to healthcare, and meaningful contributions to the community through compassionate medical care.

The occasion also included a charitable donation to Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre. Representing the institution were Ms. Coleby, Hospital Administrator; Dr. Bodha, Medical Chief of Staff; Dr. Pratt; and Mrs. Shetty, Psychologist.
