Today, the world celebrates International Day of the Girl Child. The theme for this year is "Girls are change-makers".

Our girls must be reminded daily that they can be all they want to be and we must encourage them to pursue their dreams against all odds.

And so on this day, my commitment is to continue to be a change-maker for my daughters Morgan and Alexandria as well as all girls in The Bahamas and across the globe.

🥳🥳Dear Bahamians, Plp and Fnm is not going to give you the wealth of our nation. Our health care system has collapsed, our economy is in a shambles while these two parties swing Bahamians with party in the back yard and few dollars every election because they feel your worth a few dollars when in actuality you are royalty. You are deserving to live like kings and queens because the wealth of the nation belong to you but it's being held back by these two parties. They cater to the rich, foreigners, and special interest crew and consider Bahamians "grass root" meaning you don't deserve to have better. After the party in the backyard, the few hundred dollars and the rum, they would have stolen your birth right while they build houses for them selves while Bahamian mothers and children live in cars. The DNA is ready to establish a sovereign wealth fund so that every single Bahamian can feel the wealth of this nation, and we are willing to take this country 50 years forward ☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️ It's in our DNA as a nation to prosper 🙌🙌🙌🙌
