Today, the world celebrates International Day of the Girl Child. The theme for this year is "Girls are change-makers".

Our girls must be reminded daily that they can be all they want to be and we must encourage them to pursue their dreams against all odds.

And so on this day, my commitment is to continue to be a change-maker for my daughters Morgan and Alexandria as well as all girls in The Bahamas and across the globe.

As I walked the halls of the water expo in Miami Florida I am reminded how far behind we as a nation are in technology. I am talking about technology that can solve some of our everyday issues and make Bahamians quality of life and cost of living better. Bahamian let's vote for young visionary leadership that can move the Bahamas forward.
No more crazy party politics with men who can't even use a phone properly we need to move our country forward and not backwards.
