Important Public Notice: Temporary Road Closure.
Farm road to Baeyulkinzang Chiwog will be fully closed through any traffic till further notice. Please plan accordingly.
The road is undergoing major structural maintenance and rehabilitation. Due to the scale of the repairs required to ensure long-term public safety, the roadway will remain inaccessible until the project reaches a stage where it is safe for vehicle transit.

Water is the backbone!!!
The Member of Parliament, (MP) and our Gewog team visited to our water sources to assess the heavy damage caused by the recent monsoon.
Seeing the destroyed irrigation lines and drinking water sources firsthand, sees the urgency of our task. We are committed to ensuring our fields stay green and our taps stay flowing.

Our thoughts are with the families affected by the recent incident. While the damage is difficult, seeing the community and officials rally together reminds us that no one stands alone.
Yesterday, a dedicated team including officials from the Gewog, RICBL, and Dzongkhag Disaster Focal person were on-site to assess the situation and provide immediate relief.
What is being provided:
Shelter Support: Tarpaulins have been distributed to affected households to ensure immediate protection.
Emotional Support: Recognizing that disasters take a beyond just physical property, mental health support is being prioritized for those impacted.
Stay strong, stay safe. We are in this together.

Today marks Day 1 of our 8-day Digital Literacy Training at Bongo Gewog Center! Led by facilitator Kunjung Institute of Technology and Innovation,Gelegphu, 25 of our vibrant youth and supporting staff of Pakshikha Central School are diving into the tech skills needed for the future.

Update on Windstorm Damage at Toktogom village:
A heavy windstorm has caused significant structural damage to three homes at Toktogom village. While the force of the storm was severe, we are thankful to confirm that no casualties or injuries have been reported.
Current Situation:
1. Two houses have had their rooftops completely blown away.
2. One house sustained partial roof damage.
Immediate Action & Support:
To ensure the affected families receive the support they need, a coordinated relief effort is already underway:
a) Gewog Officials are on way for assessing the immediate needs of the households.
b) The Dzongkhag Disaster Management Team is coordinating emergency supplies and temporary shelter solutions.
c) RICBL (Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited) representatives are present to expedite insurance claims and assessments.
Our thoughts are with the families affected by this natural disaster. We are committed to ensuring that all necessary assistance is provided swiftly to restore their homes.

Today marks the successful completion of our 5-day volunteering journey for the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC)!
Starting on the 21st of February and concluding today, a dedicated team from Bongo Gewog—led by our Gup, alongside the Mangmi, GAO, local officials, and members of the public—poured our hearts and energy into this noble cause.
