Despite the lockdown, we have conducted night patrolling at Khemdro and Taphu area under Phobjikha gewog to curve an illegal activity in the area.(6/01/2021)

Co-ordinated and conducted night patrolling to detect illegal timber extraction from Jokey under Phobjikha gewog (05/01/2021).

The surveillance team has come across many tractors carrying fencing post and firewood with prior approval from concerned authority however, it is found that validity of most of the permit is expired. So, we have advocated reagarding the impprtance of scarce forest resources and cruciality of the permit validity.

Coinciding with the World Migratory Bird Day, we have conducted a maintenance of roosting area of Black-necked Crane in Gangtey-Phobji RAMSAR area.
