The Cluster Finance Service, Paro, coinciding with good z***r, hosted a Tashi-Khadhar ceremony to our promoted officials to next higher position. They were promoted effective July 1, 2024.

The CFS family extends our sincere congratulations to the promoted officials on their well- deserved promotion, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their career.

04.10.2023:
CFS Paro is pleased to have experts from World Bank accompanied by Chief PPD, M*F and Chief Cluster Finance Services, Thimphu and discussed on various agendas including Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Assessment 2023, Operational Modality of Cluster Finance Services, PFM reform initiative for next five years and implementation of FINDOC System. We also presented the team on progress till date, challenges of CFS and our way forward to improve the efficiency, transparency and accountability in managing the public resources which are key attributes to sound PFM.

29.09.2023:
Department of Treasury & Accounts, Ministry Finance has rolled out the FINDoc (Financial Documentation System) on a pilot basis at Cluster Finance Services, Paro. The regional heads under Paro were presented on the rationale and importance of development of the system. This system will pave the way to digitalization in the way we conduct business in the public sector.
Further, the FINDoc System is expected have following benefits:
- Improve the service delivery through productivity and efficiency gain
- Enables the digital storage of data and information.
- Improve transparency through real time or instant access to information related to budget, expenditures and financial progress.
- Reduce the administrative cost - it not only saves costs associated with physical infrastructure but also reduces the time and effort required for administrative tasks.
- Easy retrieval of documents without having to search through physical files and folders
- Digital trial of financial transaction for auditing purpose or future reference
- Reduce carbon footprint with elimination of papers, stationery and other physical resources

This will contribute towards achieving our objective of fiscal transparency in our PFM System.
