During this initiative, staff actively participated in cleaning and waste management activities within and outside the airport premises, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a clean and eco-friendly environment.

The Department of Air Transport conducted its first Stakeholder Engagement Meeting with commercial service providers at Paro International Airport today.

The meeting focused on strengthening coordination, enhancing service quality, and ensuring adherence to airport standards. Key areas discussed included proper use of security access cards, professional conduct, customer service excellence, and alignment of operations with flight schedules. Stakeholders also agreed to hold regular quarterly meetings to promote continuous improvement and effective collaboration.

DoAT remains committed to working closely with all airport stakeholders to enhance passenger experience at Paro International Airport.

The Department of Air Transport is proud to welcome its first two Pelsups following the successful completion of their Pelsung training.

Mr. Dorji Wangchuk, Air Traffic Controller at Paro International Airport, and Mr. Namgay, Technician at Bumthang Domestic Airport, have successfully completed the training and joined the Pelsung initiative.
