The new parking lot for Sirigang, Waku, and Damchi Chiwogs which was launched yesterday was immediately stopped by the environment and forest officials after a few people complained about the new parking lot construction without the approval/clearance from the authority concerned.
Everything was put back in place and henceforth, the proposal for the construction will not take place. The officials asked Thrizin Sonam Dorji to pay the fine for not obtaining the clearance.
Thrizin furthermore mentioned that he intended to benefit the people to have smooth functioning traffic flow and a comfortable parking lot but few people misunderstood his motive.
He is still positive that he can also convince these people who made a complain against him.

New parking lot for Sirigang, Waku and Damchi Chiwogs of Kabisa Gewog has been successfully launched today.
The main purpose of the parking lot is to serve better parking space (automobile storage) and fit the greatest number of vehicles into the smallest space and also for the smooth functioning of the traffic flow.
Further, it will help in smooth passage of vehicles plying in between Punakha and Gasa Dzongkhag.
Thrizin Sonam Dorji further elaborated that from now onwards there won’t be any issues related to the parking lot in these Chiwogs as the parking lot will accommodate roughly 10-15 vehicles without any congestion.

Most of the old people back in the villages fail to prioritize their health care due to their old age and also they feel that visiting the hospitals and going for regular check-ups comes at great expense.
To assist and encourage the old people to come forward for their health care and ease their expenses, the Kabisa Gewog initiated “ Door to Door Service Health Care “.
The Gewog officials supervised by Thrizin Sonam Dorji and the Health team from Kabesa BHU visited Eusukha Chorten Nyingpo Chiwog and distributed Vitamin C, Multivitamins, and Detol soaps.
The health team also reviewed the BP and gave attention to other related health issues.
Note: The team will visit every month's for the regular check up and for other medical services.
