The collaboration of Sherubtse Tarayana Unit, BYF Unit and Sherubtse UN Club visited Ritsangdung Primary School to interact with the children and the Principal. Besides, the team also donated the sanitary pads and TPs to the management.
The topics such as male marginalization, sexual, toxic masculinity and the value education were were included to brief the young children in the school.
Also there was good engagement of the children in the activities of questions and answers.
We would like to thank all the volunteers from the units involved above.

On this day, Sherubtse Tarayana Unit made a collection of clothes and other goods from the college students and donated them to the Draktsho students. Besides, the toilet papers, pads and other necessary items were also donated.
The students were glad to receive the generous gesture. Happiness can be shared through every little thing we may not have valued much but upon being received by other, its worth is seen in their joy.

On the morning of Saturday, March 4, 2023, Tarayana Unit Volunteers engaged in the paper picking from lower market till upper market.
The purpose was to create awareness on the cleanliness of our own surroundings.

On October 23, the Tarayana volunteers had done the thorough cleaning of the waste such as bottles and plastics in the footpath near Girl's Upper Hostel.
The waste was disposed of in the proper place.
The Unit would like to applaud the wonderful work done by the volunteers involved.

On September 11, 2022, Sherubtse
Tarayana Unit along with Sherubtse Singye Karm and Social Service Unit volunteered to clear the bushes around the Upper Girl's Hostel.
The work started from 9 am in the morning and ended by 12:40 pm.

With the collaboration with the BYF and Health Unit, Tarayana Unit held a social service in Draktsho (in Kanglung).
With zeal and vigor, the volunteers did the praiseworthy work from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.
As a token of love, a small gift was presented which included the sanitary pads, detergent powder, soaps and toothpaste.
We are happy to do what we did and we will continue to do such services for this is the source of happiness for us.

Tarayana Unit of Sherubtse college held an activity of cleaning the surrounding through grass cutting and picking up the trash on 8th of May as the first activity of the unit kicked in for this semester. It was a successful event even under the scorching heat from the sun. Looking for the same spirits ahead🌟

On 10/10, Sherubtse Tarayana Unit went on a cleaning campaign with a group of volunteers from Sherubtse college till Rongthong. It was done in order to mark World Mental Health Day ensuring that it is just as important to have a clean surrounding to have a good mental health.

Sherubtse Tarayana Unit in collaboration with Art Club had an activity on whitewashing the chorten within the college today. It gave the students an opportunity to render their service and accumulate merits. It was a beautiful day indeed with a clear sky and a great voluntary service. Sherubtse Tarayana unit conducted its second general meeting on 29th of August, 2021. The meeting was held mainly to go through the workplan and discuss on the coming activities and projects. The coordinators, secretaries and the members were guided and advised by the unit moderator, Mr. Leki Sangay which made this meeting more successful. Her Majesty Gyalyum Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, the President and Founder of the Tarayana Foundation received Nu 2 M in cash donation from Dasho Ugen Dorji, the Chairman of Lhaki Companies, at the Tarayana Centre today. According to the Foundation, the donation will go towards empowering the most vulnerable and remote rural communities via the Foundation's social and economic development programmes.
