Today, the National Mushroom Centre (NMC) warmly welcomed Mr. Nado to the NMC family. We wish him a very fruitful and fulfilling journey with us as we continue working together to strengthen and build the mushroom industry. With his decades of experience in the field of agriculture, we are confident that he will make a significant contribution and bring valuable insights to our initiatives.
NMC also warmly welcomed Mr. Karma Thinley back after successfully completing his Pelsung Immersion Program. We look forward to his renewed energy, innovative ideas, and dedication in further strengthening the mushroom community and advancing the mushroom industry in Bhutan.
Together, we hope to continue building a vibrant, sustainable, and impactful mushroom sector for the benefit of farmers and the nation. 🍄

The National Mushroom Centre (NMC) has commenced commercial sawdust spawn production for the year 2025–2026. The Centre aims to produce and supply high-quality spawn to mushroom growers across the country. Interested individuals or groups are requested to submit your spawn requirements through your respective Gewogs and Dzongkhags by mid-November 2025.

Tashi Delek to Precious Vajra Mushroom farm for the successful kick-start of the sawdust-based Shiitake mushroom cultivation initiative.
This milestone marks an important step toward promoting sustainable mushroom farming in Bhutan.
