Niraj is an investor and mentor. He has been engaged in policy advocacy; running business incubation to seed investment; from mentoring individual entrepreneur to angel investment, and has experience on running business accelerator program towards facilitating Foreign Direct Investment.

Niraj is the Co-founder/CEO of Antarprerana, a private company that supports entrepreneurs of Nepal through Business Incubation Program, Investment and International Linkages. He has invested and facilitated investments in more than 15 companies including startups and growth stage companies. He also supports Nepali companies to get Foreign Direct Investment.

Niraj is also the Representative for PUM Netherlands senior experts; through this organization, he has been facilitating Nepali companies to get support from Dutch senior experts. Till date, he has helped 50+ entrepreneurs to get foreign experts.

He is also a member of Startup and Innovation Committee of FNCCI.

Niraj has been awarded by Kathmandu University as an Outstanding Alumni in the year 2018 for his contribution on Entrepreneurship and Development sector.

Introducing our Bhutanese speaker for International Bhutanese Business Seminar Mr. Rikesh Gurung Founder and Managining Director of Green Road.

Bhutan's first plastic recycling plant is working on its objectives of saving the environment by segregating all plastic waste from the landfills in the country, building eco-friendly roads and reducing import of bitumen and investment on bitumen for road construction, and generating employments for the youth in the country.

Rikesh is also the President of the Bhutan Association of Entrepreneurs (BAEyul) and has been awarded with the Best Entrepreneur of the year 2017. He has also been awarded the Asia's best entrepreneur in Technology 2020 and Global star Change Makers Award 2020. UNEP low carbon lifestyle challenge award 2020 and many other awards. He is also the regional winner and Entrepreneurship World Cup top 100 cohort from 200 countries. His company has built 105 kms of road and reused 600 tons of waste plastics. He is also the founder and Managing Director of AB Ventures, Bhutans first BPO. Rikesh also sits as board of directors in different CSOs and associations in Bhutan and abroad. He was recently appointed as the Independent Board of director of Green Bhutan Corporation Limited, a state owned enterprise of the Royal Government of Bhutan.

Introducing Vikram Bharati, CEO & Founder Draper Startup House as our speaker for International Bhutanese Business Seminar. He
is originally from Los Angeles, California. In 2014 he took a 6 months sabbatical from his banking career to travel across South America. That turned into two years of solo backpacking around the world. That led him to settle down in Singapore and start a hospitality company called Tribe Theory which later rebranded to Draper Startup House. Vikram is on a mission to help build 1 million new businesses worldwide by 2030. His vision is to accomplish this mission by building a new category in hospitality - a global chain of startup houses which combines traditional hospitality + micro campuses + investment houses. Draper Startup House currently has 20 locations worldwide, with the goal of establishing 200 locations. Prior to building Draper Startup House, Vikram was the head of venture capital investments at REAPRA where he made investments in early stage ventures across Asia. Prior to that, Vikram was a corporate banker at J.P. Morgan. Vikram did his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside and his MBA at the University of Southern California.

Previously, Shazeeb worked as the founding Country Director of YGAP in Bangladesh, an innovative international development nonprofit that supports local entrepreneurs with local solutions and Country Advisor at Give2Asia, a U.S. based nonprofit funding vetted community-based organization that are addressing the most pressing issues at the local level.
