In celebration of Social Forestry Day, representatives from different regions joined the Head Office team in a meaningful day of collaboration and environmental stewardship at Buddha Point.

Together, we successfully completed the digging of 40 planting pits in preparation for the plantation program scheduled for 4 June. The event highlighted our collective commitment to promoting greener landscapes and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

Green Bhutan Corporation Limited (GBCL) successfully concluded the three-month On-the-Job Training (OJT) program for 15 students pursuing the Landscape Technician Course at the Rural Development Training Center (RDTC).

The program concluded with a one-day workshop on Landscape Design and Project Implementation, providing trainees with an opportunity to enhance their practical knowledge and gain insights from Professional Landscape Architect Mrs. Deborah Males from Australia.

GBCL sincerely thanks all the trainees for their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the attachment period. We wish them every success in their future careers and look forward to seeing them contribute meaningfully to the landscaping and environmental sector.

Official Inauguration of the Zipline Adventure at Lampelri Recreational Park

Today, on 23 May 2026, Green Bhutan Corporation Limited successfully inaugurated the Zipline Adventure at Lampelri Recreational Park, marking a significant milestone in Bhutan’s journey towards promoting eco-tourism and adventure tourism.

The event, held at Lampelri Recreational Park, was graciously attended by Miji Hon’ble Lyonpo, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MoICE), whose presence added great significance to the occasion.

Prior to the inauguration, Green Bhutan Corporation Limited signed an agreement with Nola Zipline for the development and operation of the zipline facility. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating a safe, sustainable, and world-class adventure attraction that complements the natural beauty of Lampelri Recreational Park.

The newly launched zipline facility aims to:
✓Promote eco-tourism and sustainable tourism in Bhutan
✓Enhance recreational and adventure tourism opportunities
✓Encourage both domestic and international tourists to explore Lampelri Recreational Park
✓Raise awareness on conservation and responsible nature-based tourism

⚠️ Please note that the zipline facility has a limited operating capacity of only 25 visitors per day to ensure safety, quality experience, and environmental sustainability.
