The owner/operator of vehicle BP-1-B1850 is requested to report to the Thromde Environment Division at the earliest convenience.

The vehicle has been observed illegally dumping soil behind the CBS Building at Langjophakha, which is a violation of waste management and environmental regulations

The session will cover the user submission flow, admin dashboard, report review process, points system, leaderboard, and other key features of ThromAI.

A case of illegal waste disposal was observed near the Kawangjangsa Viewpoint on 29 May 2026. The incident shows an individual throwing a can from a vehicle bearing registration number BP-1-D0204, thereby polluting the surrounding environment.

The individual involved in this incident is hereby directed to report to the Thromde Environment Division within seven (7) days from the date of this notice (29 May 2026) during office hours to settle the matter.

Yangchenphug Higher Secondary School emerged as the Champion School, with 11 gold medals in the athletics meet held as part of the Thimphu Thromde Schools Sports Meet 2026 (TSSM).
Thimphu Thromde successfully organized a three-day Schools Athletics Meet from 29th to 31st May 2026 under the theme “Empowering Youth, Building Future through Sports.” Students from all secondary schools under Thimphu Thromde actively participated in this vibrant and spirited event.

Over the three days, students enthusiastically participated in a variety of athletic events – Track and Field events , showcasing not only their sporting talents but also the values of respect, perseverance, unity, and sportsmanship.

Approximately 800 students, along with officials and es**rt teachers, participated in the overall Thimphu Thromde Schools Sports Meet.

In addition, the Thimphu Thromde Sherig Award 2026 was presented to national toppers, along with khadar, prizes, and certificates in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.

Thimphu Thromde extends its sincere appreciation to all participating schools, students, teachers, and support staff for their dedication, enthusiasm, and cooperation.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
The Dechencholing RCC Slab Bridge was inaugurated today by the Thrompon, marking a significant milestone in strengthening infrastructure connectivity and public safety.

The project was designed within one month and constructed at a cost of Nu. 25 million. The bridge is a climate-resilient four-lane structure featuring dedicated pedestrian footpaths and a carrying capacity of 70R. It has been planned for long-term durability, improved mobility, and safer transportation for the community.

Although construction activities are typically limited during the peak winter season due to harsh weather conditions, the project was successfully executed and completed within five months. This also ensured completion before the onset of the monsoon season.

The successful delivery of this project reflects the commitment and dedicated efforts of all stakeholders involved in providing quality infrastructure for public benefit.

The Dechencholing Bridge is expected to significantly enhance connectivity, convenience, and socio-economic development in the area.
