As a small group of Bhutanese working in hospitality here in The Bahamas, we feel profoundly blessed and honored to contribute, however modestly, towards the sacred 108 Jangchub Chorten Project at Gelephu Mindfulness City.

As we commemorate the Duechen Ngazom, let us share Bhutan’s offering to the world - building 108 Jangchub Chortens each 15 meters tall in a single coordinated day in Gelephu Mindfulness City. Envisioned by His Majesty The King, this sacred undertaking is dedicated to peace, compassion, and the wellbeing of all sentient beings.

The world can only participate in what it knows. Let us therefore become ambassadors of this historic initiative and invite others to be part of it.

I am grateful and fortunate to have been taught by Anita J Pradhn Madam Anita during both my primary and secondary school years at Wangdue Junior High School. Her dedication, patience, and kindness left a lasting impact on so many of us.

As one of her former students, I would like to offer my respect and heartfelt gratitude for her remarkable 39 years of selfless service to the nation. Wishing her good health and happiness.
