𝐀 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭, 𝐀 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 ❤️

On 27th September 2026, the Social Service Unit (SSU) carried out our monthly ration support visit to our adopted grandfather, Mr. Tenzin, in Ritshangdung. We are delighted to share that he is in good health and doing well.

Moments like these remind us that kindness, no matter how small, can bring comfort and hope to someone's life. We thank all our volunteers for their continued dedication and service.

🕊️ 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲

On 20 September, we successfully completed another major activity—a clothes donation in celebration of International Peace Day under the theme, “𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲.”

Our journey began from Sherubtse College at 10:30 AM. We first visited Jomtsang, where clothes were donated to those most in need. We then continued to Rizor and distributed clothes to almost every household. Finally, we reached Cheya at around 7:00 PM. As it was already late, we handed the remaining clothes to the Cheya Tshogpa for distribution.

A simple act of sharing can bring warmth, dignity and peace to many lives. ❤️🕊️

𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗛𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗞𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 🎨

On 16 and 19 September, the Social Service Unit, Rovers Unit and Singye Karm Unit under CSEN, in collaboration with the DCPM and EPS Forums, continued painting the surroundings of Kanglung Thubten Choekhorling Shedra Lhakhang. After days of patience, teamwork and dedicated effort, the work was finally completed beautifully on 19 September.

This was more than painting a wall—it was about preserving a sacred place, serving our community and showing what can be achieved when caring hands work together. Every colour reflects the time, energy and love contributed by our volunteers.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who supported and worked tirelessly to make this meaningful initiative a beautiful success. Together, we did not simply add colour—we left behind a symbol of unity and service. ❤️

𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗, 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 🎨

On 12 and 13 September, the Social Service Unit, Rovers Unit and Singye Karm Unit under CSEN, in collaboration with the DCPM and EPS Forum, continued their service by painting the surroundings of Kanglung Thubten Choekhorling Shedra Lhakhang.

The painting is still in progress, but every brushstroke brings us closer to a brighter and more beautiful space. Heartfelt appreciation to all the dedicated volunteers for their valuable time, effort and teamwork.

𝟒𝟐 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 💙

The Social Service Unit proudly celebrated its 42nd Foundation Day on 9 September 2026—a meaningful occasion honouring 42 years of compassion, unity and dedicated service.

The celebration began with a warm welcome, followed by the cake-cutting ceremony, cultural performances, a presentation and a short video highlighting the journey and contributions of SSU.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our supporters, performers and all SSU members whose presence and contributions made the celebration truly memorable.

May the spirit of volunteerism continue to inspire us to serve with kindness and make a positive difference.
