GOLDMINE CJSS EMBARKS ON A WALKATHON
As a natural phenomenon for schools to hold prize giving ceremonies to acknowledge hard work and great performance achieved by learners and staff,the ceremonies usually require financial sponsorship to acknowledge success achieved by all .
Goldmine CJSS hosted a sponsored walk to raise funds towards its annual Prize Giving Ceremony.The School embarked on a 10km walk that stretched from the school to the eastern side of the town passing through the Toro Mall which is situated in the Molapo Surbubs and joined the popular marimavu road and connected into the block 4 location and back to the school.
The walk which started in the early hours of Saturday saw multitudes comprising the young and the old actively taking part.
Amongst the walkers was the Francistown City Mayor who is also the Area Councilor of Tshwaragano Ward Honourable Gaone Majere.The Mayor took part in the walk as the Chief Walker.He thanked the school for raising funds through such an initiative that also promotes fitness.He said the initiative is a very instrumental undertaking that needs to be supported.The Chief Walker also applauded the school for its good performance over the years.
The Regional Director Mr Labane Mokgosi who also took part in the walk said the School is a well run and organized institution.He thanked the school management for ensuring that good performance is given priority.He encouraged students and staff to continue working as a team for consistent good performance.
The School head Ms Titose Keagile said despite challenges they face they work hard to sail through hardships.Learner indiscipline is one of the challenges they face however through their formidable structures like the guidance and counseling department they ensure that learners are properly guided.
The school will host its annual Prize Giving Ceremony at the end of the year to acknowledge performance.

Moments captured at the North East Region's 2025 Excellence Awards Ceremony.The Ceremony was held under the theme Redefining Excellence; empowering Botswana's future.
The Ceremony was graced by the CEO, Business Botswana Mr Norman Moleele who served as the Guest Speaker.
The glamorous ceremony was held at Materspei College where over 130 Awardees walked away with cash, certificates medals and other goodies.
The Recipients included top performing teachers,support staff and students across all levels.
The North East Region is under the Directorship of Mr Labane Mokgosi,a seasoned Educational Director whose leadership continues to yield positive results.

Business Subjects Panel for Commerce and Accounting converged at Ntshe House in Francistown on Item Writing.
Teachers from secondary schools in the North East Region came together to set Common Exam Papers to be administered later.Business Subjects continue to be instrumental in equipping learners with entrepreneurial skills towards attaining the vision 2036 goals.
Principal Education Officer responsible for In Service in the North East Region Mr Tenson Ramaotwana joined the teachers to appreciate their input in ensuring proper quality assurance in the exercise.

TADABIGWA CJSS ON A PERFORMANCE BASED REWARD EXCURSION IN KASANE....
Staff at Tadabigwa CJSS went to Kasane over the weekend for an appreciative tour following the school's impressive academic performance in the 2024 JCE Results.
Staff Retreats are viewed as important towards recognizing performance.The school has set targets which every teacher is expected to achieve..The Schoolhead Ms Candy Mbongwe noted that the School Management and the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) took a decision to send High Performers on excursions and Team building Retreats every Year.
The Top Achievers managed to surpass the set targets and we're rewarded with prize monies,certificates and other goodies.
