Umbrella For Democratic Change - UDC - Botswana

At the OPEC Fund Development Forum, the OPEC President Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa and Vice President and Minister of Finance Ndaba Gaolathe signed a US$780,000 grant agreement for technical assistance to support debt management and fiscal consolidation under the OPEC Fund’s Country Partnership Framework (CPF).

The CPF lays out a roadmap for support across infrastructure, renewable energy, innovation and digital transformation, as well as private sector export-led growth for 2025–2028.

On behalf of the Umbrella for Democratic Change Leadership, and in my own official capacity, I take this opportunity to thank the voters of Tati Siding North for their support. I congratulate and profusely thank our hardworking footsoldiers and all those who supported us materially.

And to our new Councilor, Ms. Tlhalerwa, we say thank you for coming forward to serve. We know you will serve your community with humility, dignity and distinction. We wish you all the best and know that you will be a disciplined cadre of our Movement.
