People with albinism can live normal life spans. The main risk of early death is from skin cancer which can be avoided with sun protective behavior and regular skin checks. There are no special dietary requirements that need to be followed.
People with albinism should eat a well-balanced diet to help improve their general health status. Fruits, vegetables and nuts rich in antioxidant vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and E are particularly helpful because they can reduce the damaging effect of the sun on your body.
