The Bible does not say that the love of God is the beginning of knowledge. But it says that the FEAR of God is the beginning of knowledge.

When you are sad - Pray
When you are happy - Pray
When you have nothing to say - Pray
When you are tempted - Pray

If you feel far from God or downright backslidden, here's some advice.

Surround yourself with God even when you're out of it.

When you're not even in the mood, go to church even when you can't pray or worship.
When you're washing the dishes, play gospel music just for the sake of it. Even if you can't pray, say a 1 minute prayer before you sleep.

Do the least you can do, rather than giving up altogether. The patient should stay in hospital even when he feels dead already. And soon enough you will recover.

Think about it...

You'll be surprised how something as simple as knowing that God loves you can completely change your mood and your life. We take it for granted that God loves us, and usually engage with that idea purely from a theological standpoint; a theology that is mostly superficial itself. However, when you receive a revelation of that love at a personal level, it can totally revolutionize your life, dismantling rejection issues, inferiority complexes, low self-esteem issues, and validation issues. Friend, God LOVES you. YOU. Flawed as you are. Damaged as you are. He loves you.

Be patient with God and His plans and processes. After all, He was patient with your sins.

A gift that YOU dont take seriously, GOD can give to another person.
