Chobe Land Board
Chobe Land board tribal area includes, Pandamatenga, Lesoma, Kazungula, Mabele, Kavimba, Kachikau, Satau and Parakarungu villages.
Chobe district lies in the northern part of Botswana and forms an international boundary with Namibia to the north and west, Zambia to the north, and Zimbabwe to the east. Chobe district is made up of Kasane township and eight villages, Pandamatenga, Lesoma, Kazungula in the east and Muchenje/Mabele, Kavimba, Kachikau, Satau and Parakarungu in the west. Community engagement: Day 4. Pandamatenga.
Chobe Land Board together with Real Estate Advisory Council ( REAC) held a Kgotla meeting in Pandamatenga this morning.
It was indeed an informative and interesting engagement with the community of Pandamatenga.

Community engagement : Day 3. Mabele and Kazungula.
Chobe Land Board interacted with communities of Mabele and Kazungula. The purpose of the meeting was to engage the communities of the villages regarding Land Management issues.
Real Estate Advisory Council (REAC) joined Chobe Land Board, to create awareness on the importance of engaging registered valuers to ensure property valuation reports are accurate.

Chobe Land Board held Kgotla meetings in Kachikau and Kavimba respectively this morning.
The meetings were meaningful and interactive.

Community Engagement : Day 1. Parakarungu and Satau
Chobe Land Board began a series of Kgotla meetings this morning in Parakarungu and Satau. The purpose of this meetings is to foster collaboration, build trust, create awareness on Land management issues and transform passive audiences in to active participants.

De- gazzettement Consultation meeting
Chobe Land Board held a Kgotla meeting in Kazungula this morning. The purpose of the meeting was to consult the Kazungula community regarding the de-gazzettement of a land parcel, measuring 148 hactares identified from the Kasane forest reserve.
When addressing the community the Acting Chairperson, Mr Andrew Basiamang highlighted that out of the 148 hactares identified, 104 will be reserved for a dry Port which will serve as a strategic logistics hub for handling, storing and clearing goods while remaining portion will be an extension of the Kazungula Industrial area.

Good afternoon to our customers and stakeholders. Chobe Land Board wishes to inform the below listed plot owners that their new certificates are ready for collection. The certificates can be collected during weekdays from 07:30-12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 in Chobe Land Board offices. All the plot owners who are in possession of the old certificates shall return the original certificate during the collection of the new one. Plot owners are also requested to bring their identity cards.
NB: Representatives can collect the certificates on behalf of the plot owners only if they have a Power of Attorney.

Chobe Land Board informs it's Customers and Stakeholders that today (31/03/2026) is the last day of the 2025/2026 financial year. Therefore, the revenue office will close earlier at 12:30 PM instead of 15:30 PM.
