What Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are to football, and Tebogo Letsile and Collen Kebinatshipi are to athletics, me and community service are also inextricably interwoven. Nna le morafe wa Tati West ga re kgaogane.
Our people needs support all the time. Yesterday Saturday morning I attended a funeral in Gulubane and for compassionate support. Then immediately attended a Gulubane, Masingwaneng, Mambo, Makaleng, Sechele (GUMASEMA) project leadership meeting led by the Chiefs, VDC and the ward Councillors in Masingwaneng up to lunch time.
And finally graced an afternoon wedding in Mulambakwena where Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa celebrated the matrimony of Nathan and Nteba.
A day well spent. Compassion. Unity. Love.

Yesterday the Tati West MP had a long and very productive and progressive meeting with the Mulambakwena Women Empowerment Committee in Mulambakwena village. The company produces peanut butter and has ambitious plans to increase production, create employment opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to Botswanaβs economic diversification agenda.
The MP was deeply inspired by the passion, resilience, and determination shown by these hardworking women. Despite operating under serious resource constraints, they have remained committed and motivated to grow their enterprise.
The committee highlighted several key areas that require support, including access to land, appropriate production equipment, and capacity building in areas such as good governance, entrepreneurship, and business management.
The Member of Parliament for Tati West Constituency, has pledged to fully support the Mulambakwena Women Empowerment Company. He strongly believes that empowering women-led businesses is one of the most sustainable ways of creating jobs, reducing poverty, and transforming communities.
Together, we can help this promising initiative rise, grow, and become a shining example of community-driven economic empowerment. Government alone cannot do it all β the corporate world, development partners, and patriotic citizens are encouraged to support such impactful initiatives.

With the teams, he discussed teacher welfare, the new STEAM-driven curriculum, school infrastructure, sports revival, patriotism, and the important role of clubs such as Scouts, Girl Guides, 4B, PACT, SU, SRCs, and Prefects in restoring discipline and leadership in our schools.
Despite current economic challenges, Botswana has great potential in agriculture, minerals, tourism, solar energy, and education-driven transformation. Together, through patriotism, hard work, and unity, we shall rise and build a bigger and better Botswana.
