2026 წლის 20 მარტს, სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქის, უწმინდესისა და უნეტარესის ილია II-ის გარდაცვალებასთან დაკავშირებით, ბელარუსის საგარეო საქმეთა მინისტრის მოადგილე, პაველ უტუპინი საქართველოს საელჩოს ეწვია და სამძიმრის წიგნში ჩანაწერი გააკეთა.
ასევე, სამძიმრის წიგნში ჩანაწერები გააკეთეს ბელარუსში აკრედიტებული დიპლომატიური კორპუსის და ქართული დიასპორის წარმომადგენლებმა.

სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქის, ილია II-ის გარდაცვალებასთან დაკავშირებით, სამძიმრის წიგნი გაიხსნება ბელარუსში საქართველოს საელჩოში, მისამართზე: ქ.მინსკი, თავისუფლების მოედანი N4
19 და 20 მარტს, 14:00-დან 17:00 საათამდე.

I express my deepest condolences to all of Georgia on the passing of our nation's spiritual father, the Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia, His Holiness and Bliss Ilia II.

With his demise, a great era in the history of our Mother Church and of the State of Georgia ends. The period of His Holiness’s pastoral ministry coincided with the most difficult and crucial moments for our country. In this historic walk, he has consistently remained the spiritual guide of the nation and a symbol of unity. The Patriarch, with his wisdom, love for others, boundless patience and ability to forgive, knew how to strengthen faith in our hearts.

The contribution of His Holiness goes beyond the purely spiritual dimension. Ilia II’s contribution to preserving national identity, safeguarding traditions and strengthening the State is invaluable. With his selfless service to the Lord, Country and humanity, he has forever earned a place among the greatest figures in our centuries-old history.

I express my most sincere condolences to the Georgian Apostolic Autocephalus Orthodox Church, the Holy Synod, the hierarchs, the parishioners and every citizen. It is our duty, and the duty of all future generations, to guard with dignity the great legacy of our spiritual father.
May his memory be eternal.
