We are excited to announce the completion of our peer education program at ESTM. Students have been certified and pinned as BFLA peer educators! During the program, they covered crucial topics such as puberty, hygiene, boundaries, consent, and more.

On Saturday, April 13th, 2024, BFLA, along with Northern Regional Hospital staff, conducted a Self-Care Workshop organized by Councilor Doreth Pascascio, in charge of women’s affairs. Residents of Orange Walk received valuable health education on: self-care, personal hygiene, breast cancer, cervical cancer, Pap smears, vaginal infections, and gender-based violence.

We had a fantastic time engaging with the students of Edward P. Yorke during their Career Day! Monilee Aspinall, one of our past YAM members, did an excellent job captivating the students.
It was a privilege to educate these students about the services offered at . We also had insightful discussions about integrating safe s*x practices into career plans. The students learned about the importance of family planning and how it contributes to a successful career!
