Corozal Methodist School Std. 5 & 6 students did more than create fabulous Dream Catchers today by filtering in positivity and health. They joined forces with our northern regional Nutritionist and Corozal Health to raise awareness on healthy meals and prevention of High Blood Pressure aka ‘Silent Killer’

"Controlling Hypertension Together: Check Your Blood Pressure Regularly, Defeat the Silent Killer," is this years theme for World Hypertension Day observed every year on 17th May.

Learning about high blood pressure, early detection of its signs and symptoms, controlling it and making simple lifestyle changes can make a difference to extend one’s life.

Congratulations to the winners of the World Hypertension Day Dream Catchers and thank you to all student participants.

25th April marks the annual observation of World 🌎 Malaria Day but for the Corozal Vector Control Department, every day is a renewed commitment to promote awareness on prevention and ensuring that Belize remains a certified Malaria-Free country.

It was a fitting today to strengthen Community engagement and collaboration in Patchakan village through interactive health booths, primary school football matches and multiple prizes. Thank you to our health team, all participating schools, visitors, village council and Sponsors.
