Ambergris Caye Camp Starfish is a summer camp for children living with special needs on Ambergris Ca
Ambergris Caye Camp Starfish was founded in 2014 as a summer camp geared towards catering to our local special needs children. Since then, Ambergris Caye Camp Starfish has greatly evolved and expanded rapidly; starting out with about 10 participants to now over 40 participants from ages 2 to 25. Our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere where all children can feel included, accepted and have lots of fun!

We have all been impacted by the global Covid-19 pandemic in one way or another. It has devastated us these past three summers to have to make the decision to continually postpone Camp Starfish but we felt strongly that the safety of each camper, volunteer and their families must be our top priority.
Our plan is to bring back Camp Starfish in the summer of 2023. We cannot wait to see all of the faces of those who will return as well as meet many new faces! After three summers off and many changes due to the pandemic… planning and fundraising are going to be a HUGE undertaking but we are feeling ready for the challenge!!

Today Ambergris Caye Camp Starfish raises its banner in honor of our beloved starfish Fatima Arceo! Fatima it was an honor sharing your presence at Camp Starfish heaven has called you home you will surely be missed.
Ambergris Caye Camp Starfish extends condolences to her beloved mother Patricia Arceo and the entire family. RIP little angel🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
