The "big giant heads" have been a traditional feature of our Halloween decor for many years now. They were originally created as part of Crossroads, a community play in Annapolis Royal back in 2000. They eventually made their way to the Gardens so they could have a second career entertaining people in a different way.

Our Garden Skelebration continues today, as well as the symphony of fall colour that exists around the Gardens. It's going to be a beautiful day... join us!

Among the highlights of our Garden Skelebration are the special scavenger hunts we offer to visitors to add a little extra fun to your visit. Good for everyone from 9 months to 99 years, be sure to ask for one when you come in!
Garden Skelebration starts today and runs through to October 31. Admission for adults is $15, and no charge for kids under 18. Proceeds support the work of the Historic Gardens.

Humerus and Patella just couldn't wait any longer. They took advantage of this beautiful day to start creating a Halloween atmosphere in the Gardens. They'll be at it all week I suspect... silly old skeletons!
