Today, the Kindergarten class and their families enjoyed a meal together: Stone Soup!

The students have been reading the story to learn a lesson about sharing and the importance of communities coming together to take care of each other. We were amazed at the amount of ingredients students brought in to share! The kids worked hard to prepare all the vegetables themselves. This has become one of our favourite traditions we look forward to each Thanksgiving! Thank you to everyone who participated.

School Council Meeting Tonight!

We’re excited to hold our first School Council meeting of the school year tonight at 6:00 p.m at APS💙💛

School Council is a great opportunity for families, staff, and our school community to come together, share ideas, ask questions, and help make our school an even better place for our students.

We’d love to see you there! All parents/guardians are welcome, and we hope you’ll join us as we kick off another great year together!

🧡 Today, we wore orange and took time to learn, reflect, and remember. Our students participated in meaningful activities and conversations as we honoured the children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools, and the families who carry their stories.

Today and every day, we remember that Every Child Matters. 🧡
