We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to Maurices at the Quinte Mall in Belleville. They thoughtfully donated to our centre through their denim recycling initiative and chose Abigail's Learning Centre as the recipient of their Literacy Day Book Drive! We are so excited to partner with them on these wonderful programs that give so much back to local families.

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2026 Backpacks for Success registration! This impactful initiative is designed to help local students head into the new school year with confidence, pride, and the essential supplies they need to succeed. 🎒💕

Each backpack can be purchased by families for just $12.00 per child, making it an accessible option for many. Registration is now open online at www.unitedwayhpe.ca/backpacks and will remain open until Friday, July 17, 2026 or while quantities last.
