Our scavenger hunt along the Apple Capital Heritage trail is ready for YOU!
This is a self-guided, just for fun, scavenger hunt to find eight Halloween characters along the trail.
Hint: there are four characters in each direction from this sign. The bat will be your last character one direction, and the skeleton the other!

Looking for a paper copy of the characters? They are available outside the Berwick and District Library after 10 AM (and we may have left some treats there for you!)

Have fun, Boowick, and we will see you at the Berwick & District Lions Club from 5-7 PM for more Halloween fun!

Looking to keep busy before trick-or-treating?

Our Halloween scavenger hunt will be set up along the Apple Capital Heritage Trail starting at 9 AM! There are 8 hidden Halloween characters waiting to be found. No prizes or competition, just a chance to get outside, explore our trails and have some Halloween fun!

Then, join us at the Trick or Treating event at the Berwick & District Lions Club from 5-7 PM! The Town of Boowick will be there handing out non-food treats!

FOUND CHILD'S BIKE HELMET

A child's bike helmet was found at Rainforth Park and has been turned in to Berwick Town Hall.

If you believe this may be your child's helmet, please contact Town Hall at(902) 538-8068 to identify and claim it.

Town of Boowick Halloween activities... join us next Friday and Saturday for some spooky fun!

Friday, October 30:
Costume Day: Dress up and go all out! Show off your Halloween costume and celebrate in style. We challenge our local businesses, schools and daycares to join in on the fun with Town of Berwick staff!

Pumpkin Carving Contest: Submit a photo of your carved pumpkin with a handwritten sign that says "Town of Boowick 2026" for a chance to win a prize! Photos can be sent on Facebook, or via email to [email protected]

Halloween with the Bage Valley Wildcats: The 7 PM Valley Wildcats hockey game is getting spooky! Dressing up in costume is encouraged! (There is a fee to attend the hockey game)

Saturday, October 31:
Scavenger Hunt: Check out the self-guided scavenger hunt along the Apple Capital Heritage trail! The scavenger hunt will be set-up all day.

Trick or Treat at the Berwick & District Lions Club: An indoor, accessible trick or treating event for everyone will take place from 5-7PM. Everyone is welcome, and there is no cost to attend.

There have been reports of coyotes in the area.
Be Coyote Smart, Nova Scotia!
