🧡 Our Path Forward: Truth and Reconciliation

Today, on Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take time to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impacts of the residential school system on children, families and communities.

Earlier this week, Ogwadeni:deo staff came together with partner agencies for a Truth and Reconciliation gathering focused on “Our Path Forward: Truth and Reconciliation.”

For Ogwadeni:deo, our path forward is deeply connected to the work we do every day — supporting children, youth and families, strengthening connections to family, culture and community, and helping create a future where children are safe, supported and know where they belong.

Today and every day, we remember that Every Child Matters. 🧡
