This Ontario Public Library Week, we're highlighting some of the great services and collections available at Selwyn Public Library. We're kicking things off with the Ontario Interlibrary Loan Program.

The program allows us to request items we don't have in our collection from participating libraries in Ontario. If we don't have the book you're looking for at one of our three library branches, we'll help you put in a request to have it shipped to us from another participating library in Ontario. We're grateful to be able to work together with other public libraries to get more books into our patrons hands.

Fill out a request form at the circulation desk at any of our branches, or on our website here: https://www.mypubliclibrary.ca/membership-services/interlibrary-loan/.

Happy Ontario Public Library Week!

To celebrate, we’re building a list of ways to be !

Being loud for Selwyn Public Library can look like:

✔️ Attending programs & events

❤️ Sharing your love on social media

🗣️ Telling a friend about the library and what it offers (including the amazing SPL Makerspace!)

💰 Donating books, supplies, or funds when possible

🤝 Volunteering your time or skills

What would you add to the list? How do you show up for your library?
