Brant Hills is back open, and there’s something new to explore! Our brand-new magnet wall is ready for little hands and big imaginations, giving kids a fun, interactive way to play, create, and discover.
 
This exciting addition is part of our ongoing project to refresh children’s areas across our branches, made possible thanks to a generous legacy gift from the Estate of James Williams and support from the Kids Learning Fund. 💛

The wait is over! Brant Hills branch officially reopens today, and our staff couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back!
 
To celebrate our reopening, join us for Welcome Back Storytime today at 10:30AM, Brant Hills Bingo for Kids, Halloween Programming and Activities throughout the month, and a special reopening celebration this weekend, on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18!
 
We missed you, Brant Hills! We can’t wait to see you back at the library! 💛

We missed you, Brant Hills! Brant Hills branch is officially reopening tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back! 💛
 
While we were away, construction work replaced the roof and HVAC system. This work is behind the scenes, so you won’t see the changes, but you’ll definitely feel them with better temperature regulation in winter and summer! 🚧
 
Thank you for your patience while construction took place. To welcome the community back, we’re hosting our “Welcome Back Storytime” tomorrow, along with a reopening celebration this weekend, on Saturday October 17th. 📅

The BurlLITFest 2026 lineup has been revealed! 📚

In November, we’re bringing an incredible lineup of authors and writers, including Toronto Blue Jays sportscaster Hazel Mae, Indigenous writer and broadcaster Jesse Wente, author and CBC host Antonio Michael Downing, and debut author Kelly Anderson, whose first novel was selected as a Reese’s Book Club Pick. The lineup also features acclaimed Canadian authors Linwood Barclay, Ian Brown, Terry Fallis, and Will Ferguson, as well as more exciting events and workshops throughout the month. 
 
💳 All events are FREE, and no library card is required.

📅 Registration opens October 21 at noon.
