North Queens Nursing Home North Queens Nursing Home is a 44 bed Long Term Care facility located in Caledonia, Queens County, NS

North Queens Nursing Home is a medium-sized long-term home for special care facility in Caledonia, Nova Scotia. We offer 24-hour care to those who can no longer care for themselves at home. We are a not-for-profit organization under the direction of a Board of Directors. We have a 42-resident capacity, with both respite and palliative care services. North Queens Nursing Home first opened in 1938 as the Wright Nursing Home. In 1944 it became a Cottage Hospital primarily supporting maternity care.

A fun game of Newfoundland Golf and our newfie wins the game. A few walks on this beautiful day, was nice to get some fresh air. Then we were off to The Verni Art Gallery and Gift Shop with a few ladies for delicious treats and wonderful conversations. Thank you Victoria for opening up for us.

Happy Pumpkin Carving Day:
We had a lot of fun making cool Jack o Lantern. Thank you Amber for helping Jamie and I. We took a break and had a delicious caramel skor dip with apples and corn twists. Our afternoon was filled with wonderful music from Mervin and Andrew entertaining us. Thank you ❤️
