Help Calgary Youth Get Ready for Work!

Looking for a first job can feel daunting when you have little experience. WINS’ 2027 Youth Retail Ready Summer Program aims to give Calgary youth ages 15–18 the opportunity to gain hands-on retail experience, develop job search skills, and build confidence as they prepare to enter the workforce.

Your vote can help make this possible! WINS is seeking funding through the Field Law Community Fund, and we need your support to bring this program to life in 2027.

Spiritual poverty goes beyond material needs. It can mean losing a sense of belonging, hope or purpose, making it harder to see a path forward.

For many families, material poverty means making difficult choices between needs that simply can’t wait - rent, groceries, transportation, childcare, clothing and household essentials.
It’s not always about having nothing.
