Mother’s Day Tea & Lunch in Temple

The WINS Connections Team partnered with Calgary Housing to host a heartfelt – Mother’s Day appreciation event at one of our community hubs in Temple for women in the community.

The afternoon brought together neighbours to enjoy tea, lunch, conversation, and meaningful connection. From homemade chai tea to traditional Eritrean coffee, the event celebrated the diversity, warmth, and sense of belonging within the community. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with laughter, reconnecting, and creating new friendships.

Thank you to Calgary Housing and everyone who helped make this event so special.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and love of mothers everywhere ; especially the women in our community who continue to show up for their families despite life’s challenges.

At WINS, we are honoured to support and uplift women as they build brighter futures for themselves and their families. To every mother, caregiver, and mother figure: thank you for the care, courage, and compassion you bring into the world every day.
