Sign. Sealed. Delivered. This piece is quickly becoming our best seller! This one was made at 2’ tall and 6’ wide so it’s another big one.. We’re going to try and experiment with some smaller sizes for the upcoming Christmas craft show we’re participating in. Going to be a busy winter!

A baby stool made for a client at work (my day job)!One of our clients recently had his first baby and we wanted to make something truly special for him. He mentioned over a dinner that he had a stool when he was little that he would carry around with him everywhere he went. So, we decided to make a stool with a message wood-burnt by hand and included the name of his baby girl along with her height and weight similar to what he had ! When we presented the gift to him , he was extremely happy and emotional. We love when little projects bring so much joy to families and I think this will be a go-to gift to any other clients that are expecting in the future. Our biggest order to date! Two end tables, one coffee table, 2 floating shelves, one tv stand w/sliding barn doors and one fire place mantle to be installed at a later date. The end tables and coffee table were made of live edge cherry and we had the very talented weld our steel legs for those pieces. The customers were extremely happy with the finished product and we’re glad we could make something for them they couldn’t find in stores! One customer satisfied and a bunch more to go! Busy season ahead.

display piece fresh out of the workshop. This piece was made of locally sourced wood and we’re very proud of the outcome! Stained with Provincial oil-based stain courtesy of and painted with chalk paint for that farmhouse feel. We think the colours pop out nicely ! We’re starting to get busier at this time of the year so we’ll keep you posted for some other pieces we have on order! @ Calgary, Alberta

Rustic Coffee table finished and showcased within our clients home! They were extremely happy with the way it turned out. It’s crazy to think about how an idea for a coffee table shown off of Pinterest can make its way from our garage to their home! 🤪It’s been a hectic summer for us, and we still have a a lot more furniture on order so stay tuned over the next couple weeks ! @ Calgary, Alberta

Mortises cut and coffee table top pieces cut to size! The top will be biscuit-jointed and glued, hand-planed for a square finish and then stained in a Jacobean and Ebony Mix! Oh and some polyurethane for protection. Can’t wait to show you guys the final product! @ Calgary, Alberta

Mountain Range completed! This art piece was a first for us and we’re extremely happy with how it turned out. Projects like these is what makes woodworking fun, and truly makes you appreciate that woodworking can be a fun hobby rather than a gruelling job . We hope you enjoy this piece!
Couple more days , and we’ll grind through our first mountain art 🏔 love the way the barn board looks , gives it a nice, rough texture, kinda like a real mountain !

Another mountain 🏔 done and another client happy! We have had a number of people ask us for mountains recently, and we love making them. Living in Alberta truly gives you an appreciation for the Rockies here and it’s always nice to give a little bit of that feeling in someone’s home. Ending out the year with the purchase of a new hand plane! The Veritas No. 6 , going to make some smooth tops in the near future ! Including the planing of this Live edge Ash plank that will be made into a bench for the dining table! Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays!

The show was a success! We had a lot of fun talking business, enjoying the Christmas music and meeting new people. Definitely a memorable experience and an experience we’d like to do more often . We’re hoping with the success of this year’s show, we might try our hand at the bigger Christmas show down at Spruce Meadows. Keep checking in to see other of our upcoming projects and another potential show in the near future perhaps?
