Our Women of Wonder Halloween party was filled with costumes, laughter, sweet treats and plenty of Halloween magic! 🎃💜 Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a fun and memorable celebration!

A little colour, a lot of creativity, and something beautiful to remember!  In collaboration with Antyx Community Arts we were so happy to bring the Teen Mural Making Project to the Women’s Centre! Together, we created a space for young artists to express themselves, explore their creativity and bring beautiful artwork to life.  A heartfelt thank you to all the talented youth and artists Xemelas (La Güita 🦢 and Bianca Karina Palacio) for sharing their creativity with us.

A little Halloween magic can go a long way🎃💜

The response to our Women of Wonder Halloween Party has been incredible! For many women and children in our community, traditional trick-or-treating isn’t always possible, but everyone deserves a little Halloween joy.

🎁 It’s the LAST WEEK to register for our Holiday Toyroom!  Women and gender-diverse folks with children under 18 are invited to register to receive a gift for their children this holiday season!   Registration is drop-in only at the Women’s Centre of Calgary. Spots are first come, first served, so stop by during the times listed above!

Persons Day reminds us how far we’ve come in the fight for gender equality, while also recognizing that progress hasn’t always included everyone.  At the Women’s Centre, we believe every woman deserves to have her voice heard, her rights respected and a place in shaping our future.  Here’s to continuing the work and making room for everyone.
