CMH has renovated two Emergency Department Mental Health Safe Rooms and added a third room, with support from the City of Cambridge, to help meet the growing needs of our community.

These specialized spaces provide a safe, supportive environment where patients experiencing a mental health or addiction-related crisis can receive care and early intervention without waiting in the general Emergency Department waiting area, improving the patient experience and enhancing safety for everyone at CMH.

Thank you to Mayor Jan Liggett, Council and the residents of Cambridge for supporting this important investment in strengthening care at CMH. Learn more about the city's contribution here: https://cmhfoundation.ca/news/mh-safe-room/

We got our new MRI delivered today (Sept. 19)! It has the latest and greatest MR technology from Siemens and CMH is the first in Canada to have one! Of course, we could not have done this without our amazing community and generous donors - THANK YOU!! This cutting edge diagnostic tool will go 'on duty' in the new year, after installation and testing. Watch a time lapsed video of its delivery to its forever home - https://ow.ly/6uZK50ZPqPX
