Mr. Owusu and the Grade 4/5/6 students would like to share their Thankful creations 💕

10/13/2026

The month of October is exciting in so many ways. It brings us gorgeous fall colours in yellow, orange and red; it brings new friendships of another school year; it brings the the smell of roast turkey, ham and pumpkin pie too and at the end of the month little ghosts and goblins jumping around and yelling BOO! But most importantly it encourages us to slow down and reflect on the world around us and to give thanks for the people most important to us. This month during morning announcements we encourage students and staff to take a moment and discuss something we can be thankful for and with this weekend being Thanksgiving we asked everyone to make a list to share with our CCS families. While you read our list we hope that you can reflect on your own home and family and find connections that your child may have listed.
