Today is World Homeless Day. 💙🤝

Housing insecurity and homelessness affect individuals and families right here in our local region. Everyone deserves safety, warmth, a safe place to sleep, and a community that cares.

Chatham-Kent Victim Services stands beside those experiencing crisis and instability. By choosing empathy over judgment, we can all contribute to positive change and be the hope someone needs today.

Nurturing your mind is a community effort. 💚🌸

On World Mental Health Day, we are reminded that mental health is just as important as physical health. Trauma, crisis, and life changes can take a heavy toll on our well-being, but taking time to care for yourself and supporting those around you helps healing grow.

At Chatham-Kent Victim Services, we stand committed to supporting individuals through their mental health journeys, trauma recovery, and difficult times. You are never alone in what you are going through.

Break the silence. End the cycle. 💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic abuse can happen to anyone, taking many forms: physical, emotional, financial, and psychological. Breaking the cycle begins with shedding light on the issue, believing survivors, and fostering a community where safety is a fundamental right.

At Chatham-Kent Victim Services, we stand firmly beside survivors of intimate partner violence and domestic abuse. Healing begins with support, and no one has to navigate the journey to safety alone.
