Back to school so I thought this older video would be well timed to post. What do school board trustees do? Need help? Call/email me.

🎒🚌 School is back, Clarington!

As students return to classrooms, our roads are once again busier with children walking, cycling, taking the bus, and crossing streets on their way to and from school.

A reminder to all of us behind the wheel:

🚸 Slow down and obey the posted 30 km/h speed limits in designated school zones.

🛑 Pay attention to and follow the directions of our crossing guards as they help students cross safely.

🚌 Stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing and watch for children getting on or off.

👀 Stay alert around schools, crosswalks and residential neighbourhoods — especially during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal.

An extra few seconds of patience can make all the difference.

Wishing all of our students, families, educators and school staff a safe and wonderful school year ahead!

Safe roads. Strong schools. Strong communities. ❤️

Feeling blessed to have been acclaimed in my third term for Catholic School Board Trustee for Clarington. I was honoured to share this experience with Brad Jacobson, Trustee Elect for Clarington. Brad is a first time Trustee but comes with a great mix of experiences.

When I first became Trustee in 2018 I simply wanted to give back to my faith and my community. I am privileged to advocate for student achievement, success and well-being and to be the voice at the board table for the students, families and Catholic ratepayers of Clarington.

The new term starts November 15th. Don't forget to vote October 20-26 in Clarington and all municipalities in Ontario. Your vote counts!

Yesterday I was honored to be asked to speak at Re-Elect Granville Anderson official campaign for re-election for Regional Councillor for Wards 1 & 2. I gave my PERSONAL endorsement. Granville came from PVNC Catholic where GRANVILLE was a former Trustee and Chairperson of the Board.

It was also nice to run into former PVNC Catholic Trustee for Peterborough and Chairperson, Braden Leal.
