Today, their team stopped by E3 with a generous donation of personal hygiene and craft kits for people supported through our Supported Independent Living, Community Engagement Services and EarlyON Children and Family Centres!

We’re so grateful to have been selected by the local team through Meridian’s corporate care program and even more grateful for local partners who believe in investing in their community.

It was a meaningful day at the Power of Belonging Symposium. E3 Community Services was proud to be a part of the community at this event, centred on the voices of people with intellectual disabilities across Simcoe County.

The day focused on people speaking up, sharing their experiences, and calling for communities where everyone is included and valued.

Thank you to everyone who chose to attend and to Liam, who stepped forward to share his voice as a speaker.

Seeing people, families, caregivers, and community partners come together to listen, learn, and take action is how we build more inclusive and welcoming communities.

We came together this week to celebrate National Accessibility Week, and from the very beginning, our speakers set the tone for what the day would become.

Through their words, they reminded us that accessibility is about more than removing barriers; it’s about creating spaces where people feel they belong.

From there, the day unfolded naturally with conversations over BBQ, great music, laughter, and meaningful connections that brought our community together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a great day. 💙

More highlights from the day to come.

We came together for National AccessAbility Week with a flag raising at the Collingwood Public Library, followed by coffee and connection at Happy Day Cafe!

Thank you to the library for their community partnership with us for Happy Day Cafe and for creating welcoming spaces. To Julia, the Town's Accessibility Coordinator for organizing and Mayor Yvonne Hamlin for issuing the proclamation in recognition of National AccessAbility Week.

Together, we build belonging and inclusion.
