Ahead of Treaties Recognition Week, students are beginning to learn about the meaning of treaties and the significance of wampum belts with Ms. Leanne. We look forward to continuing this important learning and deepening our understanding of Indigenous history, relationships, and responsibilities.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ SJM Knights Shine at Cross Country Meet! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
We are so proud of our SJM Knights who participated in the Cross Country Meet at Canatara this week! It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, determination, friendly competition, and many personal bests. Our students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, perseverance, and school spirit throughout the event.
A special thank you to Mme Millar for her dedication and commitment in coaching and supporting our runners. Your encouragement helped make this a memorable and successful experience for our students.
Congratulations to all of our athletes for representing SJM with pride.💙

🚌 **Bus Safety Training at Our School!** 🚌

Today, our entire school participated in an important bus safety presentation and learned how to safely evacuate a school bus in the event of an emergency. Students gained valuable knowledge and practiced the procedures that help keep everyone safe while travelling to and from school.

A special thank you to our dedicated bus drivers for assisting with the training and for the care, patience, and commitment they show every day. We appreciate all that you do to keep our students safe on their journey to and from school!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Our Cross Country Team had a fantastic day at yesterday’s meet! Students demonstrated perseverance, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship while representing our school with pride. We are so proud of their effort, positive attitudes, and willingness to challenge themselves. Congratulations to all of our runners on a successful event! 🎉👏

🍎 Fall fun in Ms. Blankenship's SK/1 class today!
Students chopped apples, measured ingredients, mixed, and worked together to make a delicious apple crisp. What a wonderful way to build math, teamwork, and life skills while creating a tasty treat! 🍁
