Today is the last day to enter. It only takes a minute!

Last year, we mailed out 3,500 budget surveys. Know how many came back? Just 140. 😬 Ouch.

We want to make this year's survey something people actually WANT to fill out. But we need your help!

Tell us what would make you more likely to participate by taking this super quick survey! No sign-in required.

🎁 BONUS: Enter to WIN!

One lucky winner will walk away with:
A $100 gift certificate to a Creston business of their choice AND a YETI cup of their choice from our available selection.

Want extra entries into the draw? Like and share our post. That'll get you extra entries. Tag a friend in the comments! Every friend you tag earns you another entry into the draw.

Let's make this year's budget survey less yawn and more heck yeah!

Find the survey here: https://letstalk.creston.ca/help-us-build-a-better-budget-survey

Thanks for helping, Creston! Deadline to complete survey is October 26th at midnight.

PLANNED POWER OUTAGE – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25

FortisBC will be replacing aging power transmission structures on the line that supplies electricity to much of the Creston area.

🔌 When: Sunday, October 25, 2026
🕕 Time: 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

The planned outage will affect approximately 4,800 customers in the Creston Valley.

This work is necessary to help maintain the reliability of the electrical grid. For safety reasons, the power line must be temporarily shut off while crews complete the replacements.

Please plan ahead and prepare for a loss of power during this time. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while this important infrastructure work is completed.

Please share this post to help spread the word! If you have any questions, please contact FortisBC.
