This was a couple of days ago...all of a sudden, within two days or thereabouts, the colours up here went ballistic, so beautiful.

Wow, I am so glad I am old and was brought up the way I was....
Managed to time it right and go a huge/whole liver from some poor bovine from one of our two wonderful grocery stores yesterday...cut it up today and had liver, veg and onion gravy for tea....I could feel every cell in my body going yummmmm!
Met people who have has never tried liver, kidney or lamb. I cannot comprehend not trying and eating these, I know many people now go uggg, but really? Or is it just the thought?
Oh, the rubbish about smelling urine in kidneys is only, if at all, because they were not 'cored' right, you do have to prepare them properly.
So funny, the three older dogs were going bats**t for the offcuts, gave some to Ake, her face changed and she just spat it out, no go!
Keep your Maccyds, burgers and fast food, all for you, I am sticking to proper food, lol!

Okay, didn't do all the pics I normally do, but this year, first time ever, bumper crop of broad beans! Rubbish on carrots and sneeps, but hey ho...four barrow loads brought in, in the pouring rain, .yes, I was soaked, but so pleased I got then in before the frost.
The last box I still have to shell, my nails are not going to win a beauty contest any time soon, lol!

It's as still as still this morning, you can see the smoke from the woodstove just hanging there, quiet as anything too....
I was off into town today for some bits and bobs, mainly animal feed, fuel and of course, beer, but at 98% humidity and more likely than not, to rain, (oh look, it's just started as I am writing this!) keeping the sacks of grain dry would be neigh on impossible, even with a tarp so I am hoping the forecast is right (🤔) and it will brighten up, or at least dry out, over the next few days.
