October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) and we are celebrating some of the awesome organizations that hire people with diverse abilities in our community.

Lorena worked as a Bike Valet Attendant with Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST) during FIFA, helping cyclists safely store and retrieve their bikes. Her friendly attitude and commitment to customer service helped keep riders moving with confidence throughout the event. Great job, Lorena!

This week, we appear to time travel back to the mid 90’s for our “Throwback Thursday” photo. In this week’s photo, we find Ricky Jarville and Vivian Olsen at a BBQ event along with Lennie, who was one of our longest-serving staff members at Kyndred Society! Lennie retired a few years ago now, but Ricky and Vivian still receive services from Kyndred Society today.

October is Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) and we're celebrating some of the awesome companies that hire people with diverse abilities in our community.

Joshua has been a valued team member at PepsiCo for over a year. In his role, he assembles pre-cut cardboard displays that are used to showcase products in retail stores. His attention to detail, reliability, and dedication have helped him succeed in this important position.

We are proud of Joshua's accomplishments and his ongoing commitment to his work. Reaching the one-year milestone is a wonderful achievement, and we look forward to seeing his continued success.
