A big thank you to Naomi for generously cooking up a comforting chilli (and brownies!) for our tenants.
This wonderful contribution was completed as part of their civic project for Lisgar Collegiate. We are so grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness towards food security.π²π

Today, we gathered at 380 Cumberland to commemorate the installation of land acknowledgements and to reaffirm our dedication to displaying them respectfully across our spaces.
We recognize that reconciliation is not just words; itβs a commitment to listening, learning, and taking meaningful action. Our land acknowledgements are one step in that journey, and we remain dedicated to ensuring they are reflected in how we show up, build relationships, and care for the land and each other.
With gratitude to Elder Sadie for joining us and sharing their stories, and reminding us of the deep connections between people and the land.

π The holiday season is in full swing!
Over the past couple of weeks, our Supportive Housing Team has had a wonderful time hosting meals at our Gilmour and Cumberland buildings.
To make things a bit easier, we teamed up with the amazing folks at Chef Ric's to cook up and deliver a delicious and comforting holiday spread. No steamy kitchens and no dishes to do? Yes, please. And our gratitude goes out to RespectRX for bringing desserts!
Thanks to a donation from Desjardins Ontario Credit Union, our tenants were able to celebrate and enjoy a meal together. We are so grateful for their support through their Helping Our Neighbours Campaign.

FUNDRAISER UPDATE π’
Guess who's back for a third year?! One of our most favourite humans, Steph of Wicked Windows Ottawa, will be auctioning off a live painting - all in support of our goal to raise $20,000 this year.
If you zoom in on last year's painting, you might just find a little hidden forest friend! What will Steph dream up this year? You'll have to come out and see!
