This wonderful contribution was completed as part of their civic project for Lisgar Collegiate. We are so grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness towards food security.🍲💝

Today, we gathered at 380 Cumberland to commemorate the installation of land acknowledgements and to reaffirm our dedication to displaying them respectfully across our spaces.
We recognize that reconciliation is not just words; it’s a commitment to listening, learning, and taking meaningful action. Our land acknowledgements are one step in that journey, and we remain dedicated to ensuring they are reflected in how we show up, build relationships, and care for the land and each other.
With gratitude to Elder Sadie for joining us and sharing their stories, and reminding us of the deep connections between people and the land.
