As Small Business Week winds down, one thing remains: our local businesses deserve our support all year long.

This week has been a reminder of the incredible people behind our local businesses who put so much into serving our community.

To every local business owner: thank you for what you do, the opportunities you create, and the part you play in making our community a great place to live and work.

And to everyone who shops locally, recommends a business to a friend, leaves a review, or helps spread the word — thank you for being part of the story, too!

Small Business Week may be ending, but supporting local doesn't have an end date.

Let's keep choosing local, celebrating one another, and growing stronger together.

Supporting a small business is about so much more than a purchase at the register.

It is about helping keep our local economy moving, creating jobs close to home, supporting local families, and building the kind of community we are proud to call home.

Every purchase, referral, recommendation, and word-of-mouth shoutout makes a difference. When we choose local, we help our community grow stronger.

Community members:
How are you supporting local business this week? Tell us in the comments!

And support goes both ways! The Business Support Network (BSN) is here to support the small businesses that make the Town and County such great places to live, work, and do business.

Businesses:
Have a business question? Send us a message, we want to understand what supports business are looking for.

In Drayton Valley and Brazeau County, connection matters.

A conversation can spark a new idea.
An introduction can open a door or help a customer find a local business to meet their needs.
People sharing their experience can help a business owner find a solution, discover an opportunity, or realize they are not alone.

When local businesses connect, knowledge is shared, relationships grow, and new opportunities take shape.

The Business Support Network (BSN) is about connection too. We want to bring people and resources together to strengthen connections and help local businesses build for the future.

This week share a local business recommendation with a friend or reach out to another business owner.
