It was wonderful to see so many people out for the Friends of the Dundalk Library’s Annual Book Sale & BBQ!

There’s something special about a community book sale — browsing through the gently used books, finding a few treasures to take home, enjoying a hotdog and chips, and, of course, taking the time to visit with neighbours, friends and our awesome Dundalk Fire Department volunteers!

A big thank you to everyone who donated books and supported the sale. Your generousity goes directly toward helping support the programs offered by the wonderful staff at the Southgate Ruth Hargrave Memorial Library.

If you love our Library and have ever thought about getting a little more involved, please join us at the Friends of the Dundalk Library Annual General Meeting & Social on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:00 p.m.

Come for a visit, enjoy some refreshments, and learn more about what the Friends do.. It’s a great group of people who care deeply about our Library and our community.
