This past Thursday, our family groupings came together to dive deeper into two of the Grandfather Teachings, Wisdom and Honesty.
To put our new knowledge into practice, we headed outdoors for a hands on challenge! Students used their Wisdom to collaborate, problem solve, construct and test their beaver dams using natural materials. It was a beautiful morning of reflection, teamwork and shared learning.

Thank you to all of our Ormsby families that brought/sent in their cultural food yesterday. We couldn't have done it without you! Our students were very curious, excited and brave to try some traditional cultural dishes from all around the world.
03/24/2026
Students have the opportunity to wear traditional cultural clothing tomorrow (or they can wear the colors of the country they are representing: i.e. red for Canada).
03/23/2026
Students have the opportunity to bring in food from their culture to share with their homeroom class.
Please ensure enough food is sent for every student in the class to sample if they choose. We will provide plates and cutlery.
With the food:
-please label dishes (if you want them returned).
-include an ingredient list ( to be mindful of allergies and religious restrictions).
-Include the name of the dish and the culture the food is from.
Please deliver food after 11am.
